More Pregnancy Comparisons...

I'm slacking a little here, lol! I did take comparison pictures for 19 weeks, but just never put them up, so here they are:


And here are my 23 week comparison pics! She is definitely catching up to Venily now!



And finally, here is my weight chart comparison so far. I seem to be following a similar trend...

Feeling so blessed...

For one, my daughter (or I should say my OLDEST daughter ♥ ), is the cutest fricken thing in the whole wide world!! LOL! She cracks me up ALL day long! She does and says the funniest things! She still asks for cake every morning when I ask her what she wants for breakfast, haha, even though I have NEVER given her cake for breakfast nor do we have any in our house. Also... several times a day when she passes my full length mirror she starts dancing around singing "Happy Easter! Happy Easter! Happy Easter!", lol, and yes, Easter was like a month ago and she still sings it every day!! She also likes to sing almost anything. I asked her if she wanted to share a pillow with me on the couch and she sang "Share with Mommy! Share with Mommy!" for like 20 minutes while she layed down next to me! And then she takes her baby and puts her on the pillow next to me and sings "baby share with Mommy!" She is HILARIOUS!!

Also, I spent the whole day yesterday going through Venily's closet! I switched all of her stuff over to Spring/Summer and OH MY GOODNESS am I glad I am having another girl, lol! Venily has SOOOO many clothes!! I counted her jean dresses alone and she has 19 that fit her! SERIOUSLY- 19!! She could go for 19 days straight wearing nothing but jean dresses! haha! I think we should convert our entire basement into a giant walk in closet for my girls!!! I'll have to see if Jason will go for it...

And I went through Venily's 0-3m, 3-6m, and 6-9m totes. LOL! Ahhh! I had to stop myself from crying several times! I can't wait to put another beautiful little girl in all those tiny clothes!!!!! Next step will be to rewash them all again in baby detergent. AND I forgot that last year when I was buying things from garage sales I bought a TON of new stuff for a baby girl "just in case" I needed it in the near future (yeah, I'm a little girl-crazy!)! :) I am so glad I did too! I got a ton of preemie and newborn clothes brand new with hangers and tags still on (for practically free) so that is SOOOO awesome!! I already have 2 options of what Haven's coming home outfit is going to be depending on the weather!

It still feels so surreal to be having another girl since I wanted one so badly!! I still can't stop smiling! :)

P.S. I think Haven has like quadrupled in size over the last couple of days! I seriously feel HUGE- I have a feeling that tomorrow's picture will be quite the change from 18w!! She is so heavy and she is only 3/4 of a pound! I remember feeling this way with Venily too and then as you get to like your 8th and 9th month you just laugh at yourself for ever thinking that you were huge and carrying around a lot of weight b/c it was nothing back then! HAHA! For some reason I think Haven is going to be even bigger than Venily!

Also- Jacki you are a genius, lol! I tried rinsing Venily's hair with a washcloth instead of my hands and she liked it soooo much better! I think you should write a book! :)

Ultrasound... its a...

ANOTHER GORGEOUS BABY GIRL!!!! I'm so ECSTATIC, I can't believe it (though I truly knew it all along!)!!!!! Oh my gosh I am so happy!! I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT!!!! Venily and Haven!! I couldn't feel more complete!! The Young crew is 5/5 on getting what we wanted, we are a very lucky family!! :)

We were able to get right in to the ultrasound as soon as we got there. And I had the same ultrasound tech that I did when I saw the baby in the E.R. and she is really, really nice! I cheated and only drank 25oz of water an hour before I had to go and not the full 32oz 90 min before and I am sooooo glad I did! I was only slightly uncomfortable but not in any pain like I was with Venily!

The baby was going NUTS in there, lol! She was moving ALL over the place and being so cute and naughty, lol! Everything so far looks great! Her heartbeat was at 154bpm and she is measuring at 12oz (which is the same as Venily was at her ultrasound)!! I wanted to videotape her telling us the sex, but the hospital doesn't allow any pictures or video taken of the screen at all. But when she told me we were having a girl I definitely screamed and laughed for like 5 minutes straight and poor little Haven was bouncing all around like crazy in there, lol! Oh, she looks just precious, I can't wait to hold her!!!

Our response from everyone has been awesome! Venily is excited! She even said that she was going to share all her toys with her sister and even her BABY! HAHA! Not that she really has a full grasp of what is going on. Also my mom and sister are very happy, they were both hoping for another girl as well! I can't believe it, I still can't stop smiling! I FEEL SO TRULY AND COMPLETELY BLESSED!!!! I am going to try and put up the ultrasound pics in a bit. We weren't able to get a real good profile shot b/c she wouldn't hold still for a second!!!

Why having another girl is so incredibly awesome!!!:

* I don't have to do anything to her room but buy her name letters, paint them and put them up... everything else is already beautiful and girly and pink!!

* Venily has a SISTER!!!

* I have more little girl clothes than is probably humanly necessary!! :)

* MATCHING OUTFITS!!!!! (They already have matching Xmas dresses that I bought BEFORE we even started trying for another baby, lol!)

* I was so hoping for another princess!!

*Bunk bed when they're older!

*I can keep them in the bath together for longer, lol!

* Venily and Haven are going to be BEST friends!!

*We truly outnumber Jason now!!! :)

CAN'T WAIT FOR MY ULTRASOUND TODAY!!!

I have to be at the hospital at 3:45 today!! My appointment is at 4:15. Today truly will be the longest day EVER- I can't believe Jason made me take such a late appt. in case he was working all day! Hopefully I'll be able to post on here by tonight, I look forward to redecorating the site too! YAY! Jacki suggested videotaping the ultrasound so I think we are going to try that- I hope it works!

I ABSOLUTELY CAN'T WAIT!!! Baby #2 is going to be a Haven or a Preston by this afternoon!!! (There is no "if we can tell".... this baby WILL cooperate, lol!) And Jason is going to be able to see him/her for the first time today!!! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!! I can't wait!!!! And I can't wait to tell Venily if she is having a little sister or a little brother!!!!!!!

I FORCED Jason to tell me what way he was leaning on the whole boy/girl thing. (He has refused to say anything so far b/c he thinks that being greedy will make the baby turn out with health problems or something.) He truly doesn't care either way, he sees fun things for either a girl or boy, but thinks another girl would be nice for Venily since they are so close in age. And then he said we would adopt a boy (which we are hoping to adopt baby #3, but have only ever talked about adopting a girl). I honestly could go either way as well. I'm still hoping for a girl b/c I have sooooo much girl stuff and Venily's room is so girly and I understand girls and think Venily would really like a little sister, but I will be happy with a boy as well. But I am still pretty darn convinced it's a girl!!! 8 hours left to go!!!!!

Ahhhhh! What am I going to do to make the time go by? I'm going to be staring at the clock ALL day!!!!

Another dream....

last night and ANOTHER girl in my dream, lol! This one was also an ultrasound dream and it was very, very realistic! My mind is definitely convinced that it's a girl!!!!!

This baby was kicking SO hard last night!! By the time I convinced Jason to stop being a baby and feel my stomach (I thought he'd be better this time around, but definitely not) the baby stopped kicking. I bet if I would have been watching my stomach, I would have seen it, these were some BIG kicks!!!! :)

TOMORROW IS THE BIG DAY!!!!! The nerves are starting to set in. I just hope and pray that this one is perfect and healthy. A couple girls on my online board have had some fluid around different organs and bright spots on the heart and things like that... it's got me worried!

19 weeks- THIS IS THE WEEK!!!!

My baby is...

* Almost half-baked! :)

I hope my baby isn't scrunched up like this, lol!...
I was talking with one of the moms at Venily class today about her children (one is a little over 2 and one is a couple of months old) and they happened to be 22 months apart!! Venily and Baby #2 are going to be 23 months apart and it was so great to be able to see the 2 girls together and have her tell me how much she likes their age difference and how it hasn't been very bad at all! I feel soooooo reassured now!!!! Here is this woman who I feel like will be me in like 7 months- totally happy, totally put together, and out and about still bringing her children to classes and stuff! I have been imagining that it would be really hard for like a year but that later down the road will be so much easier since my kids will always have each other to play with and occupy each other and stuff. But now I am so much more confident about that 1st year, it's going to be so much fun, I can't wait!!! And Venily is going to be the BEST big sister ever!

How far along? 19 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: 129lbs (9lb total gain- YES!! That's the exact same that I was with Venily at this point!)
Maternity clothes? No, but some pants I have to use a hair tie now, even when I don't feel sick!
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Good. Though my little one thought last night when I layed down was a good time to start its gymnastics routine so I couldn't sleep for 20 minutes while she/he flipped and flipped over and over again.... but I LOVE it so I'm definitely not complaining!! :)

Best moment this week: IFeeling all the kicking and moving which is getting SO strong!!
Movement: YES!! All the time!!! Baby's are supposed to sleep for like 20 hours a day at this point, but I really don't think mine does at all! It's always moving all around! I'm in soooo much trouble! :)
Food cravings: Apples, cake, caffeine free pepsi
Gender Thoughts: I still think GIRL!!!! Only 2 more days to find out and know for sure!!!
Labor Signs: None
How are you feeling on a scale 1-10? 9.5. Some headaches at night still but they aren't nearly as bad as they were. Lower back pain after I walk. Round ligament pain if I move really suddenly or sneeze or something.
What I miss: Anything I'm not supposed to have!
What I am looking forward to: Hmmm.... that's tough! HAHA! Just kidding! 2 MORE DAYS UNTIL MY ULTRASOUND!!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!
Weekly Wisdom: Time goes by so much faster when you have an 18m old to look after. I can't believe how fast these last 2 weeks have gone by.... they were pure torture when I was pregnant with Venily, I seriously thought the ultrasound day would never come! Now I just need to keep myself busy for 2 more days!
Milestones: I think I look very pregnant now!! Though no one has yet said anything that didn't already know I was pregnant...
Differences from 1st pregnancy: No new differences I can think of!

Question for Moms!! Current mood: ecstatic Category: Life So, my ultrasound is tomorrow and after I HOPEFULLY find out the sex, I'm going to start my baby registry b/c if I do it now, I can get a $20 gift card to buy baby stuff myself!! My question for moms is... Is there anything that you really recommend that I should get?? Also, I am going to be breastfeeding and was wondering if anyone knows of a good brand of breast pump that works well and is also cheep (like no more than $50- I know some go for like $350!). THANKS!!!!
