Easter!

We had a great Easter this year.  We got to see 4 different Easter bunnies!!  2 of them Haven "liked" and 2 of them Venily LOVED so that was good! :)  Venily even talked to and hugged one!  Yay!  We had lots of different Easter egg hunts as well.  Both girls did well.  Haven was able to find all her eggs by herself and put them into her basket on her own.  And Venily got a lot, but didn't have any real sense of urgency ever, haha, and was selective on which color eggs she wanted most of the time! :)

Also, Venily made it a point to tell us every time we saw an Easter bunny that it was just a person in a costume.  And she wanted to know why all the different Easter bunnies looked completely different... good question! :)


We went to my grandparents' on Easter and both girls did great with not being too shy!  Venily hid for about 20 minutes at first, but by the end she was hugging and kissing my grandparents and not wanting to leave, lol! :)  Both girls got lots of different Easter baskets from lots of different people and way more candy then they'll ever need in a lifetime.

Easter!

We had a good Easter!  Haven and I were not feeling so well, but it was still fun!  The girls LOVED their baskets from the Easter Bunny!  We went to Jason's parents' house and my grandparents' house as well.  Haven has had a fever for a couple of days now.  I'm not really sure if it's from the shots (I've read they can cause a fever for up to a week after), teething (still haven't poked through yet, but are close!) or if she's actually sick!  She doesn't have any other symptoms though, just the fever!  I'm getting over a cold and yesterday also started my period for the first real time since I got pregnant with Haven! :(  It must be because of all of the solid food she eats now!

We also found out that my cousin is pregnant with her third baby!  I'm so excited for her!!!  She makes super cute kids!

Venily was so wiped out after Easter that she fell asleep on the way home at 5:30pm and kept sleeping all through the night until 6 the next morning and woke up still in her Easter dress, lol!

I can't wait until next year when Haven gets to join in with all the Easter activities!!!!

This is already my 50th post, WOW! :)

Hope everyone had an awesome Easter! We did! Venily was of course spoiled like crazy and had so much fun seeing all of her family and friends! She got tons of new toys, candy, jewelery, bath stuff, chalk, crayons, a puzzle, a bucket and shovel, chapstick, a shirt, book, etc. etc.

And she was soooo cute finding her eggs and basket from the Easter bunny this morning. Holidays with children are so awesome- their excitement is so contagious!! She knew the Easter bunny was coming to our house to leave presents b/c we've been talking about it every day for a week. And after being gone all day visiting our families, eating lots of candy, and seeing lots of kids she came home and was STILL hyper and crazy, lol! She was running around the house with an Easter basket in each hand singing a song that went "Happy Eas-ter! Happy Eas-ter! Happy Eas-ter!" LOL!!!

Next year will be even crazier with 2!!!

March 24, 2008 (Venilyis 5 months, 1 week, 4 days old)

We hope everyone had a very happy Easter weekend! Venily had lots of fun and got 5 different Easter baskets, lol! She must have been very good... or she's spoiled, haha! She got lots of yummy food and juice, lots of toys, bubbles, sunscreen, clothes, etc. She saw the Easter bunny on Saturday morning and got her picture taken with him and then went to her Grandma Lauren and Grandpa Don's the rest of the day on Saturday. On Sunday she went to her Great Grandparents' house and loved seeing all of her family. While she was there she rolled over from her back to her stomach for the first time!! She decided it was time since there were so many interesting people and toys there, she wanted to get at them!
